ColorJar to Receive Award at White House, Named to Empact100 List

Empact100 award presented by StartUp America and Kauffman Foundation

We’re excited to announce that ColorJar will receive the Empact100 List award. The award, presented by the White House’s Startup America, the Kauffman Foundation, and Empact, recognizes 100 top entrepreneurs age 30 and under running private business that have had a positive impact on our economy and have inspired others to pursue their own entrepreneurial ventures. Together, these companies have contributed over 2,500 jobs and over $374 million in revenue to the United States economy.

We would like to thank the Empact100 committee and supporting organizations for this humbling recognition and we look forward to furthering the cause of entrepreneurship in years to come. We’d also like to thank all of our wonderful ColorJar clients, supporters, and friends for helping us get where we are today.

David Gardner will receive Empact100 on behalf of ColorJar

ColorJar’s David Gardner will attend the event at the White House in Washington, D.C. on November 17th, 2011. Honorees will be given the opportunity to pledge their mentorship and wealth to the field of entrepreneurship through Empact and Opportunity International’s Future of Entrepreneurship Pledge movement. They’ll also be challenged to fund one loan for an entrepreneur in a developing country though Opportunity International.
