David Gardner
As the co-founder of ColorJar, David has led projects for a wide range of clients — from startups and charities, to big brands and celebrities. In 2011, David received the Empact100 award at the White House on behalf of ColorJar. His passion for entrepreneurship has resulted in speaking engagements across America, a position on the Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC), and mentor roles at Excelerate Labs and the Chicago Lean Startup Challenge.
Prior to ColorJar, David received a partnership offer from AOL for an educational web startup he co-founded while living in India that helped people pursue their goals. Later, in Chicago, he served as Director of Web Products & Marketing for uBid.com, where he repositioned and redesigned uBid.com and helped create and launch sister website RedTag.com.
David co-founded his first startup – an organization that aggregated and spread positive community news – while still a student at Dartmouth College. After gaining traction, the Dartmouth College Office of Public Relations and Auburn University adopted the startup’s methods.
While at Dartmouth, he was an All-Ivy League basketball player and was twice named the team’s Most Valuable Player. He went on to play professionally in Germany. David also really likes Subway.
