You will set the tone – the master conductor who leads a multi-talented ColorJar team to a pitch-perfect performance, providing our clients with breakthrough strategy, design, and creative solutions for their most important brand-led challenges.

You will have ownership and responsibility for the entire project, getting into the details and deliverables rather than simply managing those who do, setting high-level account strategy, delivering flawless execution and providing high-touch client service.

Success in the role reflects your serving as a trusted strategic advisor, building strong, sustaining, profitable client relationships.

Your Account Director role includes:

  • Managing 3-5 client accounts
  • Retaining and growing these clients
  • Meeting profitability targets set by the CEO
  • Representing the ColorJar values
  • Being seen by clients as a subject matter expert who challenges their thinking and provides insightful advice
  • Being a source of support, knowledge and professional inspiration for the team.

The position reports to ColorJar’s Founder & CEO


You bring gravitas from your 10+ years of experience with a pro-active, detail-oriented approach to the position.

You’re decidedly Type-A in your organizational abilities yet, creative in both your approach and solutions. You’ve been there and done this – likely for others at larger firms doing it their way and you’re excited about the opportunity to get it done your way here.

You’re comfortable interacting with client management at all levels, demonstrating superior written and verbal communication skills. You will also have strong presentation, negotiation, organizational, financial (budgeting and invoicing) skills, and apply a brand-centric, strategic and business lense to your client projects.

Your approach promotes both client and industry regard for leading expertise in your role as well as helps shape the market perception of our firm and its reputation as a leading brand strategy and design consultancy.
